Chief Minister Oommen Chandy declared Kozhikode ‘Shilpa Nagaram,’ a city of sculptures, on Thursday. The CM unveiled ‘Remembrance,’ a 36-foot-long and 7-foot-tall sculpture made by Advait Gadanaik from Odisha, to make the declaration at a formal function held at Kozhikode beach. The 13th edition of the Calicut Property Show organised by the Kozhikode chapter of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers of India (CREDAI) will be held at the Sarovaram Function Hall on January 6, 7 and 8.
